About Us
Mornington Peninsula Bowen Therapy, located in Rye, was founded by Lisa Coulson, initially a Remedial and Sports Massage Therapist. Lisa's journey into Bowen Therapy began over twenty years ago following a challenging back injury. After trying many treatments without lasting relief, she discovered the effective results of Bowen Therapy. Impressed with the significant improvement in her back and overall health, Lisa retrained as a Bowen Therapist.

Today, more people in Australia and internationally are discovering the benefits of Bowen Therapy. At Mornington Peninsula Bowen Therapy, we're proud to offer Bowen Therapy, Access Consciousness The Bars and Body Work. Our goal is to help you improve your health and well-being through our range of therapies.
What is Bowen Therapy?
Bowen Therapy is a unique hands-on therapy, taught and practised worldwide. It involves a sequence of gentle rolling movements performed by the practitioner using specific areas of the body. These movements target muscles, tendons, ligaments, and nerves. The key feature of Bowen Therapy is the combination of relaxing moves with rest periods in between. This approach allows the body to reset, repair, and rebalance.
